Make It At Home: Alltown Fresh Pizza

Ready to get started? Here’s how to make your own:

Step 1: Stop by your local Alltown Fresh and pick up the following ingredients from the marketplace:

  • 12 oz ball of pizza dough
  • ½ pint of tomato sauce
  • 8oz fresh mozzarella
  • 8oz shredded mozzarella and provolone blend
  • 4oz slice pepperoni
  • 1oz fresh basil

Step 2: Create and Serve (serves 4-6)

  • preheat oven to 450° f
  • on a floured surface, stretch the dough using your hands, or a rolling pin, to ½” thick
  • place the dough gently and evenly on a lightly floured sheet tray
  • dress pizza with desired toppings: starting with sauce, then cheese, and protein (if desired)
  • place on middle rack in oven and bake for 10 minutes
  • drop the heat to 350*f and bake for an additional 10 minutes
  • remove from oven and place on cooling rack for 1 minute
  • slice and serve
