Being an integral part of the communities where our stores reside is a core part of the Alltown Fresh values system. Our goal is to positively impact the quality of life within our neighborhoods by helping to build stronger ties with our guests and local partners.
We strive to work collaboratively and in partnership on opportunities and efforts to better connect communities with our brand.
Ways in which we do that include charitable initiatives, sponsorships, community events and business to business efforts.
Helping Neighbors in Need
Perishable Food Partners
Food insecurity is an international pandemic. In the U.S. alone, The Feeding America network predicated that by the end of 2020 50 million Americans, including 17 million children, would be food insecure. Locally, the Greater Boston Food Bank notes that 1 in 8 people in eastern MA are struggling with hunger. We help our neighbors in need by providing our leftover fresh food to our local perishable food partner and their network of care.
We are proud to work with the following perishable food organizations:
We are proud to offer free coffee to local first responders at each Alltown Fresh site. This includes police, fire, ambulance, military and more. Alltown Fresh also extends a 10% discount off purchases to both high school and college students who present their active student I.D.
