Alltown Fresh Celebrates Second Coffee with a Cop Day

Second Coffee Cup

For the second year, Alltown Fresh recognized and hosted National Coffee with a Cop Day across all sixteen locations in the northeast. Coffee with a Cop Day is a national initiative aimed at fostering dialogue and building positive relationships between law enforcement and the community. Launched in 2016, it takes place annually on the first Wednesday of October, continuing efforts to strengthen connections and close the divide between police and the public.

“Coffee with Cops provides a safe space outside of the police station for community members to connect with officers,” said Officer Nick Diaz of the Hopkinton Police Department. “A gentleman came to the event to discuss a personal issue with one of our officers. I’m glad we can partner with Alltown Fresh and create a place for residents to speak with officers.”

More than twenty police departments and state barracks were represented at Alltown Fresh locations, drawing over 80 attendees, including local Chamber of Commerce members and town leaders. Adding to the charm of the event—along with the freshly baked muffins and pastries—were the police dogs, who stole the show and were the true stars of the day.

Alltown Fresh is excited to continue hosting Coffee with a Cop in the years ahead. To learn more about this national event, visit coffeewithacop.com.
