Ready to get started? Here’s how to make your own:
Step 1: Stop by your local Alltown Fresh and pick up the following ingredients from the marketplace:
- 12 oz ball of pizza dough
- ½ pint of tomato sauce
- 8oz fresh mozzarella
- 8oz shredded mozzarella and provolone blend
- 4oz slice pepperoni
- 1oz fresh basil
Step 2: Create and Serve (serves 4-6)
- preheat oven to 450° f
- on a floured surface, stretch the dough using your hands, or a rolling pin, to ½” thick
- place the dough gently and evenly on a lightly floured sheet tray
- dress pizza with desired toppings: starting with sauce, then cheese, and protein (if desired)
- place on middle rack in oven and bake for 10 minutes
- drop the heat to 350*f and bake for an additional 10 minutes
- remove from oven and place on cooling rack for 1 minute
- slice and serve
