RRFCX / Really Rad Festival of Cyclocross, November 13-14, 2021, Falmouth, MA
Chef Joshua Smith and his Alltown Fresh Team are preparing an amazing line-up of Food Tents & Stations for cyclists and fans
An avid cyclist, this is the ultimate collaboration for the chef
Chef Joshua Smith, Alltown Fresh, is as passionate about cycling as he is about cooking. It is all coming together as Alltown Fresh is the presenting sponsor for RRFCX/ Really Rad Festival of Cyclocross, November 13-14, 2021 at Cape Cod Fairgrounds, Falmouth, MA. “Embracing a healthy lifestyle is at the core of all that we do here at Alltown Fresh” according to Smith. “This is an amazing opportunity to work with the country’s elite cyclists and their fans, and cook some really extraordinary and healthy food for all of them while they are here in New England. Plus the beneficiary is The National MS Society, which is near and dear to the Alltown Fresh family.”
Smith is an avid cyclist and familiar with cyclocross events. “When I was out west cooking, I worked with a company that hosted cyclocross events. Not only did I cook for the teams and the staff, but I went out and actually cut trails with them. It’s an amazing sport – the passion, the dedication, the challenge – it all means something to me. I can’t wait to share it with our Alltown Fresh team and all of New England.” Smith owns several bikes, with mountain biking as his favorite. “For me it is beyond exercise – it is my time to reflect, to challenge myself, to center myself, to open my eyes and take everything in around me.” When Smith is opening a new Alltown Fresh location, for example, he is known to take his bike and just go out and cycle to discover farmstands and local product. Smart cycling and good nutrition go hand in hand for the chef; he was thrilled with the opportunity to partner with Alltown Fresh & RRFCX 2021.
